OUR HISTORY

Welcome to 244 Kitchener Rd Stafford Heights, the home of Physical Addiction Gym and Stafford Squash Centre, a Community and Family Fitness Centre. Physical Addiction Health and Fitness Centre was built in 1975 and was one of the largest gyms on Brisbane’s’ Northside during the 70s and 80s.

The Facility is owned by Robins Family, built by Ernie Robins, and now operated by his son, Fred Robins. Our membership prices are the most affordable in Brisbane, running the facility as a small family business, prioritising our customers and community. We have built a friendly community that has been present since opening, and can’t wait to watch it further grow over in the future.

What we have:

The centre is 5500 square metres with 6 Squash Courts, and a 130 square metre group fitness room which hosts Zumba, Power Addiction (a weights rotation class), Cardio Addiction (Group cardio class), Yoga, Pilates, and Boxing Classes, in addition to a 10 metre pool. When it comes to fitness, we have something for all!

We also host various businesses such as: an onsite Masseuse, onsite Physio, several Personal Trainers including 3 Personal-training Groups that offer Functional Group Training in 45 - 60 minute classes, as well as classes catered for those 50+ years young! We have 3 sizable workout spaces that consist of various different machines, and a large floor space - perfect for all kinds of workout routines!
